Larry Whetsell brings twenty years of medical experience to Atlantic Medical Group including nine years as a combat medic in the Army and eleven years as an emergency room nurse, and now as a nurse practitioner.

Larry received his cum laude Bachelor’s Degree from Ohio University and his Master’s Degree from Herzing University. Larry is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and received advanced injection training from Downtown’s Healthcare in Denver, Colorado.

Larry Whetsell now specializes in physical medicine and performs trigger point and large joint injections including Regenerative Therapy treatments for Atlantic Medical Group. Larry’s focus has switched to physical medicine and alternative therapies because of the focus on healing. “After treating patients in three different countries and seven different states I am beyond excited to begin restoring functionality to my patients and improving their quality of life.”

Larry Whetsell is a native of Ohio and currently resides in Tallmadge with his wife Amy and their three children. In his personal life, Larry enjoys nothing more than getting to spend hours with his wife and children doing any outdoor activity. Larry enjoys all sports however he loves to play golf and compete on the links.
